Hi,
I got my I-140 approved last week at Texas Service Center and the status was Approval notice sent. Today, I got an email from CRIS mentioning this case has been transferred to Nebraska Service Center for processing where my I-485 is pending.
Can anybody throw some light on this?

what i mean is i am currently working full time with Company A. But I am thinking of making additional income by working for another company on part time basis. Can I file another concurrent H1? And if this concurrent H1 will be based on annual H1 quota?
I heard once that there is a special category for parttime H1. Better check with attorney.

Is it enough to get 3 year extension with courtesy copy of I140 approval ? I am asking this because my company has just given the courtesy copy.
Also I understand that the old Eb3 PD can be used to get extension(how can employer revoke approved labor certification ??)

I filed to NSC on 7/20 but receipted by CSC on 9/20 acknowledging the receipt date as 7/20 and transferred I-485 alone to NSC reataining I-765 and I-131. Since then no FP notice or LUDs on I-485 from NSC but EAD and AP are approved from CSC.

Do you mean RFE (request for Evidence) by "Query on H-1 Transfer " ? This happens all the time with any benefit application. You need to explain what that query is? If company C will respond to it by providing the evidence USCIS wants, things will take care of themselves.
Yes can still go ahead and transfer to D only if you are sure the query will be addressed by company C and the approval for H1-B transfer is 100% certain. Normally it may be a good idea to wait for the approval.

I am looking to switch employers. Although the job descriptions are pretty similar ( C coding, design, protocols etc.), my PERM was filed for Computer Software Engineer-Applications whereas the new one falls under Computer Software Engineer, Systems Software. Is this a risk during I-485 adjudication. Also my new salary is 50% higher than my original PERM salary (It has been almost 4 years since my original PERM).

Descriptions look similar but what you need to check is the SOC code are a close match or not. That is important. Regarding the salary difference taking inflation into account and salary hikes ove the 4 ye4ar speriod you should not have any problem. Check this below link for AC21.

Hello,
I'm outside US with AP (expiring in about a month). My GC has been approved this June.
My GC employer has run out of work. He is likely to get work later.
My options are:
a) Stay outside US and look for project. On getting confirmed work, enter US to join employer.
b) Enter US, look for project. On getting confirmed work, join employer.
Getting employed by GC sponsor employer with, either option could take few months.
While entering US, I will NOT have EVL(employment letter), only AP & I485 Approval Notice.
Which is safer option (a or b) for US entry ?
What questions can be asked at POE ? What should I say if asked about employer ?
Can GC be revoked at POE?

not sure if moving to another state is a option...
but i can think of..
1) cancel the insurance
2) apply for another insurance effective from your return date, cancel the existing insurance.
3) take min liability only
4) see if they can suspend it for 2 months.

Can PERM / 140 be filed by company while I am outside the US?
I was talking to an attorney over the phone today and she said that PERM can be filed followed by 140 even if I am outside the country (working for an overseas department of the company) and I can come back on L1 / H1B, because GC is for future employment.

H4 is completely depends on your H1, does not matter if it is an extension or new. If you have good to take it with other documents, if not, I don't think thats a problem. As long as you have all your H1 documents ready, she will get it.

Hello All,
When I was doing my education (MS) my credit dropped drastically and recently like 2 years back it went for collections too. However I cleared all my credit card debts but it still shows on the credit report that as severe deliquencies and number of open accounts.
Next month I'm applying for AOS - I want to know whether bad credit will have any affect of the approval or denial of the application? :mad:
Any suggestion is appreciated.

some of my friends are saying...as you are born in 1974 and as your
birth certificate was taken in yr 2005, it might cause problems (ins poseses query)
to get the green card.
Is it right?
They are saying me to get Affidivits + non availability certificate now.
will it be a problem if I put my birth certificate....while applying for 485

My advise is to get a Non-availability of birth certificate because an RFE is the last thing you wanna see. My wife tried Allied Legal, India to get Non-availability of birth certificate for her parents. you can try them. They are the immigration attorneys in USA.
