i know the character as being chinese (but it's probably definately a japanese one as well). and it means to "paint/draw" so it has huge relevance to kirupa.com. as far as the stamp goes - it could be a little more interesting. it's kind of too white and plain-jane. (and what stamp costs $0.00?) the text is a little blurry as well

If they do approve your I485, you still have 180 days to file your dependants. It is called "Follow to join". Do a google search on "Follow to join greencard for spouse".

Could some one please clarify?
My wife and I were entered on AP lately and since I work for the same employer, I am still working on my H1 and am planning to extend my H1. My wife is working on EAD, can she still able to apply for H4 based on my H1? We want to have her H4 as a back-up!

As soon as your wife used EAD, her H4 status was gone.
For you it would still be safe to continue working on H1.
Your advantages are:
1) Having dual status (H1B and AOS) is better than one.
2) You do not have to worry about EADs for yourself.

I was told by consulate staff that the PIO card should be endorsed with the new passport # when you renew your foreign passport. I guess if you are traveling with both the old and new passport it should be ok, since they can verify right there. It is also a hassle endorsing the PIO card everytime you renew your passport. If you try to find out from the embassy/consulate ( that itself is a hassle), they will probably try to sell you for an endorsement. I do not know about the fees. I will be surprised if they didn't have one for endorsement.

Look at the top table which shows data released by DOS. Last month 75 application have been reduced and in month back 100 applications were reduced.
This is really really bad sign for EB3 and even for EB2.

Until recently I had not even tried to look for other opportunities, but I suddenly find myself with a position (another company). I am not familiar with the rules of AC21. Is it required to inform the USCIS of the move - I have heard that there is no need to inform? Please help.

Now that it is 180 days Since Jul 2nd and some of us are thinking about AC21. Some are invoking AC21 and sending the documentation as soon as they change jobs and others are thinking of not informing the CIS (AFAIK Informing CIS is not mandatory as per AC21).
A friend of mine changed jobs 3 times after filing I485 never informing the CIS and got his GC without any RFE. He has the luxury of the lawyer who originally filed the I485 work with him and the company never revoked I140(because they laid him off). Another friend sent the documentation about invocation of AC21 and got RFE.
It is expressed in other related threads to start a poll so that we can have an idea of trends in AC21 usage.
This is a simple poll.

Targeted site visits. These visits take place where fraud is suspected, and consist of a visit to ask questions. Advance notice, including notice to counsel, is supposed to be provided.
Administrative site visits. These relate to religious worker and H-1B petitions (http://www.geelaw.com/lawyer-attorney-1054805.html). They generally are conducted by contractors who know nothing of immigration law. Religious worker visits are performed under the regulations for that category. For H-1B site visits, the contractors have been equipped with a set of specific questions, and all employers/beneficiaries should be asked pretty much the same questions, primarily reaching the issues of whether there's really an employer there, whether the employer knows it filed the petition, and whether the beneficiary is doing the work and receiving the wage indicated on the petition. With the first question what it sounds like you want to do is open your image (you may have to copy and paste it into a new document, not sure)...
Select the layer with your image then go to Image/Adjustments/Hue Saturation (this is in Photoshop 7, it is still under the Image menu in 6, but Adjustments was named something else, which I forget now)
Then check the colorize checkbox and slide the sliders to the color you want.
As for your second question, yes it is possible. You can use the Lasso tool. If you have the toolbar pallette open, it is the tool right under that Rectangle Marquee tool. You can right click on the lasso tool to choose between 3 different types of lassos. The rounded one is to select an area freehand style, the jaggety one is to select an area by clicking points, and the one with the magnet allows you to better outline things.

In the instructions to file EAD they say to print name and alien receipt number on the back of the photos.
What number should we write? I-485 receipt number or receipt number for last EAD?
